Creating a Legacy for Future Generations

2020 was a year with losses of family members, finances, time, and opportunities for me and for many others.

I started to think about what does 2021 year have in store for me. Creating a legacy was born from this thought.

A legacy is a part of a person that lives on long after that person has passed.

“A legacy also leaves behind a story of a person so they are not forgotten. Legacies are important pathways for the future to follow or to be guided in order to make better decisions in life”. (https://wikithica.wikidot.com/legacy-leaving-your mark).

Webster’s dictionary defines legacy as, “anything handed down from the past as, from an ancestor or predecessor.

“Legacy is not bound by age or time served. Legacy represents your body of work at each stage of your career (life) as you establish the foundational building blocks and accumulate the required wisdom to contribute to growth, innovation, and opportunity both in and outside of the workplace.”(https://forbes.com/sites/glenllopis/2014/02/20/5-ways-a legacy-driven-mindset-will-define-your leadership/)

Creating a legacy is beyond just prospering and having financial wealth. As we move into this New Year what kind of legacy do you want to leave for future generations and for your family.

“A good man (women) leaves an inheritance to his children’s children, but the sinner’s wealth is laid up for the righteous” (Proverbs 13:22).

His Love and Blessings,

Danielle
